Вакцина Comirnati від Pfizer-BioNTech – це мРНК вакцина проти COVID-19, розроблена німецькою компанією BioNTech спільно з американським фармакологічним концерном Pfizer. Вона дозволена для екстреного використання ВООЗ, вакцину застосовують у США, Великій Британії, Канаді та ЄС. За результатами клінічних досліджень ефективність її становить 95%.
В Україні вакцину Comirnati зареєстрували 22 лютого 2021 року.
Також за кілька днів до постачання вакцини Comirnati ЮНІСЕФ доставив в Україну біля 140 тис шприців для розведення вакцини з розчинником та ін’єкцій та понад 1300 коробок для їх безпечної утилізації.
Згідно з планом вакцинації населення від коронавірусної хвороби, перша партія вакцини Pfizer-BioNTech у кількості 117 тис. доз. передбачається для щеплення людей похилого віку, які перебувають в інтернатах, а також працівників ДСНС та ДПСУ.
Всього Україна в межах глобальної ініціативи COVAX має отримати 8 млн доз вакцини від COVID-19. Також у березні COVAX поінформував Україну про можливість виділити нашій країні 947,7 тис. доз вакцини розробки Pfizer-BioNTech.
За даними МОЗ, в липні очікуються 10 млн доз вакцини Novavax, в квітні-травні очікується ще 1,5 млн доз вакцини Covishield. Також мають бути доставлені 1,7 млн доз вакцини китайського виробника Sinovak.
Також 6 квітня Україна уклала договір з американською корпорацією Pfizer на постачання 10 млн доз вакцини проти коронавірусу. Постачання відбуватиметься протягом року. Уряд виділив на закупівлю цієї вакцини 6,5 млрд грн, зробивши тимчасовий перерозподіл бюджету Програми медичних гарантій на 2021 рік.
